Miracles were a way of life for this dedicated mother.
In 1910, 23-year-old Lillian Trasher answered God’s call for missionary service to Africa. The
following year, she began an orphanage in Assiout, Egypt, that would be home for thousands of
children and widows. Her letters from more than 50 years of service reveal her passion to
repair broken lives and minister physically and spiritually to those who otherwise would never
have heard the gospel.
